So I know a lot of you plan on bringing in SJ...my question is when? Will you do it after round 1? Will you look to get an initial price rise out of your placeholder and bring SJ in after he has played 2 games (North/Carlton)? Do it later?

For me, it will mainly depend on the placeholder's scoring and which team he plays for. If he plays for the cats (i.e. Bartel/Chappy), then I'd be more likely to bring in SJ straight away as he will be taking points and mid time off those blokes. But if they smash out a huge score in round 1 (say 130+), then it's very tempting to carry that through and grab the first price rise. Also need to consider that SJ has had lean pickings against Nth/Carlton in recent seasons.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm thinking of starting ROK/McViegh (who cost less than SJ) for Rd 1 (as my M6) just for the 1 round then trading him to SJ in Rd2 opening up a DP link with my forwards. Still only thinking about it ATM...

What do people think the par score will be in Round 1? DTTALK (warnie) thinks around 1800. I am unsure on that.
According to BF alot alot of people have Danger, Goddard, Heppell, Cox who all underperformed significantly. Also alot went Jacobs aswell and he was below par. Im unsure how popular ST was but he usually goes under the radar speaking generally so i doubt many picked him

+ to that Fyfe, Duffield, Masten as fairly popular i havnt looked at number for those last 2.

Remember most people seem to be avg 70~ from all premiums (6-7 rookies yet to play). 87 x 23 = 2000 score (that includes captain score)

heading in to final lockout my setup is weighted mid heavy / ruck overweight / fwds underweight / def light
based around a 26 man squad... my focus now turns to trading with the first 6 weeks predominately about value adding.
