His form this year has been terrible compared to last year. In the first game he did nothing in the first half, then stepped up in the second half of that match.

Today he had a shocker as we all saw. Also Daniel Kerr has not been his prolific self. Is he suffering from second year blues?

Poor Benny, I heard that he has been carrying a virus! That is why he has been below par. Im not sure about Kerr though, I hope its not the dreaded second year blues cause we need him to fire if were gunna fire!

Kerr had 14 possesions against Freo and 12 against the Pies. I wouldnt say that really that bad. He will pick it up though, Kerr is too talented to have second year blues.

As for Cuz, 49 possesions and 2 goals in 2 games....well its not exactly bad is it! I know its probably a little bit down on his form from last year but with all the off field problems he has had, the drug allegations, the death of his close friend and the first real season where he is the sole captain. Plus all the experiments we are doing with him up forward and so forth. Its no wonder he isnt on fire.

Good thing is though we won a game and almost beat Collingwood without him being on fire. Says something for our midfield and our progress! Still it isnt helping him become the first Eagle to win a brownlow!

Ben and Daniel (Not bad, they are my son's names) are more of a target for opposing sides this season. There seems to be a fallacy where opposition clubs seem to think if Cuz was taken out of the game, West Coast will fall to pieces.
It is great to see some of the others step up and take hold of the game instead of relying on those two guys in the middle.

This year is going to be good to us I feel.....
