Not too sure about Huddo but saw Hentschel at the cricket on Friday, no crutches, walking with a bit of a limp and that's about it. He asked for my autograph but I had to turn him down.
Biglands was in my Dad's office organsing sponser deals or some crap and he said the knee is frustrating. Can't really do anything with it at the moment and just needs to wait. Poor bloke.

I understand he was ready to play by the start of the finals, but since the Crows already had a working ruck combo they figured why take the risk

Correct. Whilst I would have liked to have seen Huddo return for the finals last season, bringing him back into the side for the finals would have been very risky as he hadn't gotten much in the way of match practice, so we stuck with Biglands and Clarke. Had one of them been injured in the leadup to the finals he probably would have played though. He'll be our #1 next season.

He did play in the SANFL at the end of last year for North Adelaide so he should be getting a full pre-season in preparation for next season. There was talk of him at the end of last year playing for the crows if but a lack of match practice was probably an issue there. Talk of him rucking so biglands could go forward to cover the henschel injury (from memory).
