i just wondered wat ur thoughts on benny were i reckon hes a good player for the magies but just has poor disposal the majoirty of the time but makes up 4 it in other areas.

A shocking kick but a heart the size of a bowling ball. Gives his all every week and is very suited to CFC game plan. MM will definately keep this fella.

I think Benny Johnson will be on the draft for next year along with Ben Kinnear. Shame about Johnson though, I think we could mould him into a good footballer. As for Kinnear we should of dumped him once we got a new coach.

Bem Johnson will continue to be a fixture in the Collingwood side.
His workrate, courage and pace are outstanding.
Terrific at getting to the fall of the ball and running to assist when rebounding out of defence.
Does turn the ball over, but the clangers are not as "bad" or as frequent as they once were.
Does have his problems with medium sized players who are good overhead ie. N. Brown, Cupido & B. Green.
Good on players who are not strong overhead ie Milne, Matera.
Milne has not scored more than 1 goal against him in past 3 clashes.

If he could kick he'd be a gun because he's so fast and gets so much of it. He also doesn't take a backward step on the footy field. His only other weakness really is his one on one contesting, but that could be excused if he could only kick!
His kicking had improved for a while there . . . but now it's back to good old Benny. But overall, I don't think it is, or will continue to be, as big an issue as some make it out to be.

He's a good player, he still needs a little work with his kicking, but other then that he's a good footballer. Better then Kinnear will ever be.
