Well after his six goal game in a prelim VFL final it seems this fella is on the radar..
Anybody know what his exact relationship to Michael is?

Also how old is he and where do some of the experts see him being drafted..Top 30 surely?

Wouldn't think he'd be top 30 considering he has played 6 games this year since he has only kicked 5 goals in 5 games other than his 6 yesterday.

He's 19 but not sure on relation or if there is any.

Isaac Smith went pretty early off the back of 6 VFL matches, think I've read that Long was playing defence prior to getting to Footscray. He has barely been mentioned on this board, Chris25 one of the only ones to rate him prior to last weekend.

Correct. Ben is the son of Chris Long - Michaels brother. Chris was a very good footballer in the NTFL with St Marys.

My favourite play of his in the VFL GF was squaring up Lynden Dunn and putting him to the ground with a whack to the bread basket.

Dunn had been sniping all game, and it was Long who flew the flag.

Do you remember what quarter this was in? I'm going to watch the game and for convenience purposes want to which quarter it's in, have read a few Dogs posters bring it up.

Really excited by the Long pick up. Have watched a few St Mary's clips and for a kid who's fairly slight he's deceptively strong with a bump.
