I posted the following over at Blitz a couple of hours ago -
quick update from Jackie - bit of a weird game - Nth Ballarat turned up with 2 teams, and Bendigo had about 30 players but mostly their younger players - not many of the usual Bendigo senior players. So what they've done is play six "quarters" (yes, ok, they should be called "sixths" but that just sounded wrong!)
the first Nth Ballarat team played the first three quarters and the second team took over for the other half. So as you can guess, the Bendigo guys are completely exhausted, and the score at "five quarter" time was 23 goals to 4!
No Essendon players, and the only player Jackie recognised was Tristan Cartledge playing for Nth Ballarat
