But you are talking about history, you need to deal with the player he is now and that is a very poor one. If we get Garrlet all he will do is hurt our VFL side as he will keep a bloke like Ferguson out.

You do realize he's only 25? Has averaged 40 goals a season for the last 4 seasons(how many small forwards have that record?), this year he's had a rough trot and his output has been below expectations, who knows maybe he doesn't get on with Malty or he's just not happy being there. To condemn him as a "very poor player" and worry that he's going to keep VFL listed players out of our VFL side is just ridiculous, particularly as it's "just" this year that hasn't been great and him being so young. If he was 30 years old and had come off 2-3 poor seasons in a row you may have a point.

So no ones career has ended at 25 before, he averages 30 goals so lets not get two a head of our selves. The guy is not one you want to get down to the club, there is one thing having players with poor discipline at your club but it is a who nother thong when they can't even play ones. He will be 26 next year, it is hardly what I would describe as "being so young".
