just interested to hear ur opinions on who was the most complete and alround player you have seen in the nba. i would say grant hill for me before he got injured he was destined for great thing ne was 6'8 guard foward who had made handles lightning speed great defender could take it to the hole shoot the outside jumper find the open man and pull rebounds. also showed some glimpes of him old self when he made a brief comeback before reinjuring his ankle

KG.

All-time you've got to go with Magic and Pip. Magic could play any position and pretty much dominate, but he'd probably have a bit more trouble doing that in this day and age. Pippen was a legit 20, 5 and 5 guy but was pretty much regarded as the best defender of his time, and could take any of the perimeter players. Grant Hill would probably be up here, possibly on top, if he hadn't done his ankle. Shame.

All Time: you couldn't possibly go past Magic Johnson. The bloke could play all 5 positions without dramas.

Currently you can go past Kidd and KG.

If Grant Hill didn't bust his ankle he would have been up there.

All time it just has to be Magic Johnson. Robertson is worth a mention as is the great Scottie Pippen. Pip certainly had more D than Magic or O.

Right now....Kidd, KG, Artest, Kiri. Take your pick.

I reckon this blokes overall skills were underrated. He turned back the clock today.

22 pts, 12 rebb, 7 as on 5/11 shooting.

No D though....he's not **** on the defensive end but he's no stud. Just a pretty average defender.

If you ever want proof of who is the greatest all-round player in NBA history, check game 6 of the 1980 finals. Lakers V 76'ers. And a Rookie PG scoring 45 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists... as a centre.

Earvin "Magic" Johnson wins this one hands down, by the length of the straight, by a country mile etc etc etc.

Devo hit the nail on the head.

God Magic was awesome.

or to use a really bad bad, earvin was a magician on the basketball court.

but as an allround player Magic got 19.5, 7.2 and 11.2. Also got close to 2 steals a game.

That coupled with the fact that he could play any position on the court, makes him a better "allround" player than MJ Jod.

Makes him a better player. fullstop.

Bird's stats would be very comparable to Magic's. Maybe even better. Though he didn't play the number of position that Magic did, but i'd rate him as a much better all round player than Pippen certainly.
