had a four pack of Duvel last night - very very nice stuff! it's strong at 8.5% but damn it's a nice tasting brew.

Currently drinking Gosser, an Austrian beer. Grabbed a six pack last night, and in a promo received a free long tall beer stein. Nice drop, but I prefer drinking from the stubby.

Some familiar names popping up here among the imports and boutique/microbrewed Australian beers. Anyone tried the Grand Ridge stuff brewed in Mirboo North (Gippsalnd, Vic.)? A few nice drops coming out of there.

Last week I splashed out on some pricey Leffe at a grog shop in Port Melbourne. Never really got into the Belgian beers, and they've never been abundantly available at the places I go, but was willing to try a few more lines as they were flogging it at said shop.

Nice bottles... ordinary beer. Buy German.
