You pie fans always pull this out like you think it's some kind of great burn, but I've never met a tiger fan who cares that much about it. We peaked too early that year and learnt from it. Then we won two more premierships. 2017 - 2020 will always be fondly remembered despite that loss.
I was talking to Ken Sheldon about this when i used to work with him, he thought it was an hilarious rumour but denied Glascott ever owned a monkey. So it's obviously true.

I heard there's a museum of famous pets and objects and they have Glascott's Monkey next to Pavlov's Dog and Schroedinger's Cat (not sure if its still alive though).
On the wall is Chekov's Gun (not loaded....surely?), Occam's Razor (there's a bunch of stories about how it got there, mostly long and unlikely), the axe some bloke used to rebuild his grandfathers ship, several apples etc.
Its in a cave somewhere, but the owner (some academic) wants them out.
