Hey Guys,

I was wondering what do you think is the best ticketmaster outlet around Melbourne in terms of the size of the line it'll attract and the number of people serving, etc, i.e. what will give me the best chance of getting the remaining few (if any) tickets left on Tuesday morning for AFL Silver Members, although I realise they'll probably all sell out today anyway. Be interested to know what everyone thinks, thanks

Brendan

ive always found the arts centre to be pretty good

Try the smaller and less obvious ones, there's a newsagent in St kilda for instance. Or try one that's close to a heap of others (eg one of the half dozen in and around the city). I bought my prelim ticket at Telstra Dome as a silver member and there were probably 25 people in the cue max when 0900 rolled around. I'd expect a lot fewer for the GF, because no Collingwood (yay), interstate team, and the cost reduces the number of hangers-on.

Bad news - there are no silvers available this year.

AFL Silver Members are advised that due to the high demand by AFL Full Members for tickets to the 2007 Toyota AFL Grand Final, Silver Members will not have access to purchase a ticket in 2007.

AFL Silver Membership provides the purchaser with access to the NAB Cup, home and away season and Weeks 1 & 2 of the Toyota AFL Finals Series. Silver Members are only offered the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the Toyota AFL Grand Final in the event of AFL Full Members not utilising the ticket allocation.

AFL Full Members are advised that there is limited reserved seating and standing room areas available for purchase through Ticketmaster until 5pm on Tuesday, September 25 (or until sold out).

My local one at Windy Hill has never let me down. And they're pretty nice there too (as opposed to the usual morons that usually work at Ticketmasters).

Havent had any problems getting tickets for the finals either, espeically cause all the Essendon losers aren't in it!! HA HA :p

Visited the outlet at the Arts Centre today and it was fairly large, and they were pretty nice in there. Didn't even have my receipt number to pick up my tickets, but they were happy to do a search for me using the old credit card details!

Only problem was finding my way down an escalator to get to it! But again, they were very helpful at the information desk in directing me there..
