Went to the game today and was very impressed. Betts must be in for the Blues this week and Setanta looks as if he's ready to take the next step.

It sounds like Betts needed a game in the VFL to get his hands on some footy. Sounds like he has found some form after his shocker in Adelaide. He should come into the team for Bowyer. As for O'Hailpin, I believe that we should give Deluca a week in the reserves to get some hands on the footy, which would allow, O'Hailpin to make the step up.

Again .... O'hAilpin is a rookie. We can not elevate him to the seniors without a long term injury to someone. He must be elevated when the player is still 8 weeks away from returning from injury, not 6 weeks after the injury with only 2 to go.

I believe Setanta deserves his chance. He is mature age and has the strong body. Just need to find a way.

Digby has his uses as long as he isn't expected to play in a key position. Clarke is the listed player that has zero chance of making the side.

keep in mind eddie is only 17 we cant play him every week with his small frame he will be at risk to injuries. expect him to be like andy walker last season play most games but not all of them

Betts will be all the better from having a game in the VFL. He got the chance to get his hand on the footy. If Dennis picks him this week (which he should) he will have a good game.

It's a crime Eddie was dropped for s4!tkickers like Davies and DeLuca who just hasn't lived up to expectations...Also it's a crime that Bentick hasn't had a game this year when he played some good footy against the Bummers, Dees and Pies last year.

Eddie has been one of our best forwards this year! I reckon Setanta needs a run, he'll prolly play with more fire that fricken Fev has been.

Would think eddie will add some more bite to our foward line this week, and some much needed pressure to keep the ball in!!! Sentana might already be worth a gamble IF a player gets injured in the next few weeks, wouldnt plan on him playing too soon tho!

Raso is playing school footy all year, wasnt him in the best. Was another Raso.

I'm sick of all these idiots saying Setanta will be included this week, well done to all the people that say he is a 'rookie' listed player. We have been saying all year and people continue to carry on about him not being included.

Unless there is a long term injury he will not be PLAYING senior footy!!!!

Well done to Betts, that will give him some confidence to be playing this Friday night.

Bring him in, Bentick deserves a run and Morrell I would have thought should be in our 22, is a handy player.

Another tough job at the selection table however, guys like Bannister, McGrath, Bentick, Simpson etc all possible inclusion. Betts should be automatic.
