Bigfooty has almost been unusable for me the last few weeks. Completely stalls my MacBook, memory usage over 1gb.

Some things to have a look at. Let us know if you find anything interesting:

Which browser? Is it up to date?
How many tabs do you have open?
Do you have an browser addons? Does the problem continue if you disable them and restart your browser? Does it return if you enable them and restart your browser?
Do you have any memory-saving settings activated or deactivated in your operating system or your web browser?
Which operating system? Win 10, 11, iOS?
Any particular device worse than the other? How does it go on your phone?

Problem is fixed when using internet explorer rather than google chrome but I believe the problem seems to actually stem from using the adblock extension that I didn't even know I had enabled since it never stopped the ads here anyway. Problem is across multiple devices on Windows 10. I don't use bigfooty on my phone

Turned Platinum Membership - https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades ;) off on PC and still running slow. Then it will be fine for a couple of minutes then run slow again. idk

Same for me but PC only. Genuinely thought the site was down Fri Night on PC but webpage on chrome on phone was very smooth and quick.

PC still has same issues today.
