Just got word from FC that his internet is currently down.

Telstra are having problems and have given him a 'no latter than 7pm Monday' for getting the internet back on.

So, we could be waiting until after Monday, or it could be back on earlier, but, who knows with Internet Companies these days?

Will update when I know more, games will more than likely be delayed a bit, but as soon as he's ready to go, things will get done, may even get the Test Threads up on Saturday or Sunday if it's agreed upon by most, and when he's back online, we are pretty much ready to get those started as well.

Will have a chat with FC about it

Hmm.... starting to re-think things....

Please explain exactly how it is my fault if my internet is down?

By the way, obviously I'm back. Telstra came out this morning to fix the problem that they caused themselves.

One day matches will be up some time later this afternoon.

Anyone using Telstra is going to have to suffer unreliability.

Probably, although it has been our first problem with the broadband.

A technician came into our street yesterday, and was doing some work in the box. When putting our cables back in he got mine and our neighbours the wrong way around.

This meant that we got their phone calls, they got ours. Also means none of our internets worked either.

Thankfully they came out early this morning to fix it :thumbsu:

That's about par for Telstra.

How about a company moving location that has a Telstra phone system. Telstra is paid to relocate it. A week later it fails. Telstra says it won't fix it because they automatically canceled the maintenance contract when the company moved. They could send an inspector out in a week and have a maintenance proposal in a fortnight. Meanwhile the company has to go two weeks without phone, fax or email.
Fortunately we found a local company who fixed it in half a day and have never used Telstra since. All it was, was a loose connection by the Telstra cowboys.
Do you know that what happened to you is supposed to be impossible. They can't finish a job without a line check!!!
