His destructive hitting was too hard to pass up, as he consistently makes lots of runs, every time. I could have gone for Starc here, but seeing how little he plays, Lynn was a more 'deserving' pick 1.

I'm taking him first because the lack of quality wicketkeeper-batsmen is horrific - in fact, he's the only selection here that I think is above par. Luckily he also brings attacking captaincy and a calm mind, which has already done wonders for the Heat this season. Had considered Starc, as VD had, but I think the lack of depth in McCullum's role means he's a very wise choice here.

Despite not playing in the Big Bash due to international commitments, we feel Mitch is an absolute superstar and would absolutely destroy everyone if he got his opportunity in the Bash.
