In another thread people came up with the idea to make a group of carlton supporters who use bigfooty to go to matches and make loud noises ( or just watch).

How do people think it should work?

-Just MCG or Dome games or both?
- What level (3) or (2) or (1)?
- Behind goals on any level or wing on level (1) or (3)
- Age limit?

what do the people who are interested think

I would be happy to join in! If it is going to work though it would probably have to be in a general admission area so everyone has access and so it doesn't have to be changed for away games... I think if it is done, we should definitely get it going for both grounds, considering we play 9 games a piece this year.

I agree......I'll be in on it if we get a few peeps who are interested.....:thumbsu:

I'm in. Unfortunately none of my mates are Blues supporters and therefore I don't get to go to many games with fellow Blue baggers.

Would be great to join in.

Hi Blue in blood , I have been keeping track of positive responses to the other thread and will also keep track of this one . so far , including myself , we have 9 posters who have replied to the affirmative . Open age for 1 would be good as we do have quiet a variance there but all go for the same team . both grounds are good and i'm not fussed about which level or where , although on the wing you see the whole ground better . I'd just be happy being among my own group - you guys . Blue Dawn has suggested he/she would be happy to act as a basic contact point via PM , I wont make every game nor do i know the grounds well enough to organise meeting points , but feel free to PM myself if you wish . Either way , i'm looking fwd to it . We are Blues fans and we rock !!!

This is a virtual world. As far as I'm concerned no-one really needs to exist. With the greatest respect I think I'll keep it that way. :)

We know you ceased to actually exist some time ago thylacine. :p

I know what you mean thylacine60, we all need our coccoon.
However I always find it fantastic to meet people you have kind of got to know on BF. Like minded people can always get on well and at a game the experience is so much better when you have similar people around. I like getting rowdy and hate having people next to me who just sit and watch. Applaud when a goal is scored and that is it. I get vocal, jump up and down etc. I want people in the trenches with me who are willing to have a good time and get into the game. I think the BF people are like that and hence my invite to everyone to come to Perth for the Rnd 7 Judd's return.

Im keen, I dont have many Carlton supporting mates, and living 3 hours away, I only ever get to go to games where my friends team play us, Its a long way to drive to sit by myself to watch a game, though I have done it many times before, I have a 9 month old bub so my missus isnt keen for going this year taking him, if I had others to sit with i'd definitely make it to more games.

She sure does, I converted her from Collingwood:D to the blues within the first year I met her, unfortunately for her, that was 2002. So really, she has been nothing but bad luck:( But she is as mad for Carlton as I am now, Shes a good girl.:thumbsu:

Well you have done exceptionally well my friend . Not only to transform her , but to keep her on board all this time as well . Now the effort you have put in will begin to come to fruition . Now you should be set for a family full of little blues in the future .( if you have more kids that is ) .:)

That brings back some memories. My ex-fiancee was a maggots supporter and was swayed to the Blues within a year or so!

Also, i wonder if the mods might consider it worthwhile posting this thread as a sticky in the Blueroom to help facilitate BIG FOOTY BLUES connections - particularly as the first round approaches. :D:thumbsu:

I'd love to participate in this, but there's the problem of everyone preferences and seating and such. See, I stand up and watch the games, usually somewhere around the 50m line, where as most other people sit down. I'm just concerned about everybody's preferences not being reached.

I guess it would go with the majority Eddie . Blueinblood , i think it was , likes levels 2 or 3 so we would all need to come to terms on that one . Must admit , i like to sit - apart from when we goal and i stand up pumping the fist as we do .

Always fun, but I just prefer standing:). Makes me feel as though i'm in the thick of it.

AI is very advanced now. Can you tell the difference?

I'll come as long as everyone brings their laptops and we converse by posting. Have to find a hotspot of course but it could be done. :D
