Sad truth is John Elliott has done far more for the club (in a positive manner) then any of the people here on this forum who go out and character assassinate the man, and smear his name, just because he has made an ass out of himself from time to time.

You can bag Big Jack Elliott all you want for the salary cap penalties and the spoons, but I would say you should also reserve contempt for the likes of Bradley and SOS, who narked on the club and sold us down the river, in order to save their hide from the Australian Tax Office ...

Fraser Brown is a far better clubman then both Bradley and SOS, at least he refused to sell the club down the river, no matter how much the AFL tried to investigate him, and his intergrity is intact ...

It does irk me though how everyone keeps blaming all the shit that's happened at Carlton in the last 10 years or so on Big Jack, when that is clearly unfairly and a blatant misconception.

Every non-Carlton fan i've talked too, was delighted when the Kangaroos pounded them in last years grand final

What would happen, for instance, say that Carlton and Essendon BOTH fail to qualify for the Grand Final, my guess is that Essendon will, but Carlton will fall on their own sword before than, Geelong knocking out Carlton in the finals, repeat after me folks
