1. Forza Horizon 5 - has everything and a really addictive loop once you get your teeth into it.
Absolute daylight. In such a weak year my number one was so far ahead of anything else.
2. Lost Judgement - I was a bit yeah nah through it. Coming straight off the first game I couldn't help but constantly compare them. The main story probably doesn't hold up to the first game but the entire Yakuza universe is just so well done. Criminally underrated amongst most western gamers.
3. Death's Door - didn't even notice it until after release and was really surprised. Great gameplay, nice difficulty and a really dark story of you take time to scratch the surface of it.
4. Returnal - was sort of interested initially but it was probably after getting hooked on Hades did rogue likes finally click with me. I find this game pretty punishing at times but breaking through is so rewarding.
5. The Medium - come at me. For a walking simulator I enjoyed this. I liked the atmosphere as it was creepy enough without being a full on horror game.
