I don't get to watch much live football, even on television.

Given that, I think the biggest win I've seen was 135 points against GWS in 2013 when Tom Lynch kicked ten. I was daft - I was in Sydney and could have actually gone to the game, but I just saw it on telly.

The worst loss I've seen - this time actually in person, and the only game to which I've taken my now wife, was the 118 point loss to Sydney in Tony Lockett's last game in 1999.

Not sure if it's our worst but the most disappointed I've been was the 2019 PF against GWS.

Home prelim against an injury ravaged GWS side and we completely shit the bed. I think majority of fans and the media were already talking about the potential Collingwood v Richmond Grand Final.

Been to live, both v the Crows and nearly exactly 10 years apart at the Gabba.

Biggest win(141 points)- Round 17, 2004 Gabba v Crows > 29-15- 189 v 6-12-48. Black 37 disposals and 2 goals, Akermanis 35 and 4 goals, Lynch 6 goals.

Biggest loss(105 points)- Round 20, 2014 Gabba v Crows > 9-9-63 v 25-18-168.

Watching Scott Hodges kick a bag against Geelong wasn't something I enjoyed much. Seen it too many times against the Redlegs, didn't need him having his big day out against my mob again. I think the 108 point loss to Collingwood was the big one. They tackled us back to the stoneage that day. We also got pantsed by a pretty good Sydney team in 2014 or 2015 I think it was. A forgettable night. As for wins can't go past 186, the Richmond destroyation or 119 what a day to be a Catter.

Hawthorn annihilated us at the MCG in about 2013 roughly. It was truly remarkably one-sided, Harlem Globetrotter stuff. Ghastly.

2004 has two of my favourite games I attended, and both big wins for different reasons. Beating the premier Lions (the T.Schwarze long bomb winner) and then almost cracking the 200 mark against Carlton a few weeks later. Fun.

Worst loss would have to be that Port one last year. The Melbourne game at the MCG in 2010 up there as well. Had a couple vs Adelaide in the mid 90's that were awful viewing, too

Best big win was the one against the Eagles where we won by 171. Beating Richmond by 118 in 2006, Melbourne by 116 in 1997, and North by 107 in 2001 were all satisfying as well.

We've had some beltings over the years but 2 consecutive rounds in 1995 were hard to watch.

Round 13 vs Collingwood; Friday night at the MCG. Collingwood by 96 points
Round 14 vs Essendon; Saturday afternoon at the MCG. Essendon by 122 points.

At AFL Level

BIGGEST: Discounting the 2016 Grand Final, in terms of margin it was Good Friday 2021, the Josh Bruce game. Fortunate to be let into the state given I was based in Regional Qld rather than the Brisbane area in the era that shall never be spoken of again.
WORST LOSS: 2011 in Perth vs Eagles, simply didn't try. A close second was a 2013 match in Sydney vs the Swans (Ryan Hargrave celebrated a milestone) where we refused to chase and didn't give a yelp

Losing to Essendon by 148 in 2013 and that absurd loss to St Kilda this year when were 46 points up was humiliating. Saints players and supporters had every right to celebrate that win like it was a premiership, but hopefully they can have some proper success and finals wins in the near future.

Best win I've seen was the 2000 qualifying final against Carlton at the MCG. You'd probably ask why I didn't say the 2021 premiership win was the best I've seen? Well it was because I was able to see the Carlton 2000 win live, as opposed to watching the flag in lock down.

Best win I've seen was actually the first live Eagles game I went to...

Round 19, 2004

West Coast 87---73 Brisbane @ Gabba

We were at a point where we needed to win every game to get into finals and sat 10th, Brisbane were 2nd.

Cousins was ruled out the week previous, unlike the year befores match this was a real fight of a game.

We started well but were inaccurate and led 4.7(31)--2.1(13) at quarter time.

From that point on the match was very even but we held on to win in front over 31,000 on a perfect sunny Sunday afternoon.

Worst loss:

Probably last year against Carlton when Cripps just smashed us and Carlton who weren't even near full strength beat the crap out of us at home.

Also the 2016 elimination final.....I was so confident and expectant of a win in this one. I took my then girlfriend who was Swedish to the game and was telling her about how the eagles will easily win and so on.

Didn't happen as the dogs just smashed us and in the process made my then girlfriend decide to support them, which she then went on to make a point of watching every one of their finals until they won the flag. She even kept a track of them after we moved over to Sweden early the next year.
