Do a crit at Glenvale and you'll have your own stories to tell!

Didn't have chance to whip out the camera last time someone came down in front of me.

Tram tracks when first starting out before I realised you have to cross them on an angle!

When I used a MTB/hybrid bike for work, I enjoyed using it for drifting (body weight on front, rear brake locked, swaying the rear end) down hills.

On one unfortunate occasion, the handlebars snapped while drifting after accelerating to approximately 40km/h down a painted bus lane in the CBD.

My body plummetted downwards and I was faced with the spokes of the spinning front wheel. No longer being able to keep upright, I crashed on the road surface.

My bike and I ended up a twisted mess. Nearby shopkeepers rushed out, picked me up and put me on a seat before handing me first aid. At this stage, I was in a lot of pain and shock.

Bruised and bloodied, I locked up my bike before getting on a tram to deliver the courier jobs I had onboard. I then walked home and took the next 4 days off work with a severely bruised right shoulder and multiple grazes.
