Billy Kidman

[NICK THE PIE MAN]

Used to be a huge, huge fan of him in the late 90's back in the WCW days. I used to marvel at his matches with Rey Mesterio Jr for the Cruiserweight championship. His finishing move (the shooting star press) was always a big favourite of mine.

I know he was he was in the WWE recently. Is he still around?

I have gone off wrestling for a few years and just wondering what has happened to him as I always thought he was brilliant.

He is still in the WWE but rarely appears on smackdown. He regularly works matches on Velocity. He isnt as good as he was in WCW(which wasnt that great anyway).

Last week he tagged with Ultimo Dragon.

liked his work back in WCW as well you can put his slide down to the WWE not really knowing how to use cruierweights properly.

Some days I wonder why Vince even bothers putting on a Cruiserweight division, he doesn't know what the hell to do with them. I like to pull out my old WCW tapes and watch guys like Psichosis, Juvi, Kidman, Jushin Thunder Lyger, etc, work some good matches, now that was exciting action, these days it's half as good, if that.

He's pretty bland in looks, personality and style, so they really have trouble doing much with him. He'll be in trouble if Paul London ever gets a decent run, as his version of the Shooting Star Press is much better than Kidman's (though not nearly as good as AJ Styles').

Exactly right.

Vince can be blamed for plenty of things, but a lack of a push for Kidman isn't one.

Billy Kidman is a great worker, no doubt, but his most popular phases have always come as a result of an association with Rey and the Filthy Animals.

I did like his work with Hogan, however on a whole, he is better as the 'best buddy' type, similar to Shannon Moore.
