hey guys, season just around the corner and im pretty excited, sure everyone else is too

just wondering, in regards to these two fellas, i havent heard anything on them in the pre-season and was wondering whether we are likely to see them in the seniors early on, or at all, this season....or will it be another development type year

as i see it, im not too keen on relying on Tarrant from full forward this season, would rather him up the ground nearer to Pebz, and was thinking perhaps Morrison could play from the square, since Davidson is injured and Cam Cloke hasnt filled me with much confidence this pre-season

its just a thought, what do other Pie supporters think?

I reckon there are too many Pie fans asking too much too early on these guys. Whilst they are both pretty big units, they are also kids from the sticks, and as such, their mental state is in as much need as their physical development.

Billy kicking five in his last game will help his head. Hopefully he keeps doing more of the same. I think he can, but it will be in the blue and gold this year. The only thing we ever want this dude to do is mark the ball and kick bags of goals. He's shown he can do it!

Brent will definitely spend the year at Willi, but this year in the firsts. Rucks well and has very good skills below the knees. When I saw him a couple of weeks back, I thought his confidence let him down a bit. He appeared soft, which sounds like a hard call, but he's still not sure he can mix it physically with adults yet. From where I stood, he is built like a 200cm version of Marat Safin, but was unsure of his capacity to use his frame in contests (a contrast to Travis Cloke). Confidence is the order of his year. From us, it's patience!

Billy kicking five in his last game will help his head.

With Trav kicking a bag, Billy kicking a bag, and Egan scoring a few in a quarter, it all looks very promising for the Willy forwards this year. Throw in some good goalkicking form from Rocca Tarrant and Caracella, and it looks like we may be developing some real potency and depth in front of goals. All we need is form from C-Clo and fitness from Didak and Davidson.

Very exciting indeed.

And yes, Billy and Brent need another season in the magoos.

Brent Hall is capable, et he does look a bit like a McKee, loping around, with height probably taking most effect on him, but as FIGJAM said, he is good below his knee's which contradicts my opinion, so it means, he should be capable of having a good season at Pt. Gellibrand.

Billy Morrison, he obviously can play. Slight injury limiting the end to what must have been a good pre-season, and did contribute with 5 goals in his last game, several weeks ago.

It was a personal opinion as he has changed from a ..... don't worry - you guys obviously don't have a sense of bloody humour!!!

Anyway - I will get rid off it so we can get back on the topic of Morrison's football skills!!!
