Good point there, but then again Margaret Thatcher got into a war and killed thousands of people for a few sheep and some inbreds in the Atlantic, just so she could win an election.

And George Bush Sr. for starting a bull**** war and not finishing the job and getting rid off Saddam Housain and putting in some competant rulers in Iraq.

I'm not offended at the pic, i'm offended at M29's comments at me. ALthough i probably went too far about Bush, i loathe the man and his entire family (more people were executed in Texas under Bush Jnr than any other governer in history)

Bull****, now this is the first time that I will ever agree with Loz and AlfAndrews on anything, but this bombing campaign is purely designed to stroke George Dubya's ego.

My dad was in Vietnam, and you can bomb the crap out of Afghanistan and still not even make a dent in rooting out these terrorists (remember the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and the Vietcong's tunnel network ?), my dad knows how futile it is to get these people out that way, knowing that there are many caves fro them to hide in and many people willing to support them.

And I know that they are targeting Taliban positions, but what explains the fact that the yanks bombed two warehouses full of food belonging to the Red Cross ?, smart bombs indeed.

And this action that the yanks have taken just weakens the power of those who rule in strategically important nations like Jordan and Saudi Arabia, Osama Bin Laden wants to overthrow these two monarchies and replace them with governments more atune to his idealogy, creating more places for terrorists to hide in and creating a more dangerous world.

What the yanks have done does not make for a safer world, like what Imran Khan said in his article in the Age this week, the only move that is worthwhile is to get these people and put them on trial similar to Nuremburg after WW2.
