Anthony Anderson stars in this show and is a modern day Cosby Show.

This show is based around a 'black family' living is a white world. He is a marketing and advertising senior executive and father of 4 kids and his wife is doctor and the concept of the show surrounds their black life.

Season 1 was released in 2015 and season 2 is nearly finished.

Laurence Fishburn plays Anderson live in father and steals the show.

Been watching it since it came out. Along with The Goldbergs it's one of my fave comedies in the last few years. The mother/wife is Diana Ross daughter.
 
Haven't watched this but keep seeing it mentioned by Americans on the internet.

Seven/Nine/Ten not airing it after 20 months is unusually long... It it too smart for their audience (US ABC so that doesn't sound likely) or too black America for their audience?

Waiting for Fox 8 to pick it up.
 
It pokes fun at both black and white stereotypes so perhaps some people don't like that.

Charlie (the character) is very black and they extract the urine out of him. Best character in the series.

Probably both. Plus without the reference of frequently being around black culture, it probably wouldn't have the same effect here that it does in America.

That said, its one of the best comedies on TV at the moment
