Blacktown is a bloody Dump... I just had to go out there for work, how could anyone be conned into moving to there?

In Davis' case if your family live in Canberra and with GWS playing 4 games a year there, that's pretty attractive.

Other than that though besides the money they are paying players GWS will be a white elephant. They'll either end up being a black hole that the AFL continually feeds money into every year or they'll eventually relocate to Canberra.

Awful place but apparently they are all living in some resort style accomodation not actually at Blacktown. Blacktown is how it sounds!

I wonder how that works, the players coming in on big money might not want to live there? Is it permanent or for new players?? Interesting concept though..

Come to think of it, maybe they all need to cover each others backs, it is Blacktown after all...

It's Breakfast Point where the players etc live. Very nice area.

Davis' family is now in Sydney, from what I understand.

Yes, they've done it well by putting them all up at Breakfast Point which is fantastic, and only having them train at Blacktown, which is a shithole.
