Just got a question? why don't we seem to give the ball to Blake when he is in space? i was watching on the weekend and a few times he was in space and we wouldn't give it to him instead we would use swan, lica, johno etc to kick the ball. Now these blokes have had good starts to the season but cant kick that well and blake is cool, calm and collected and can hit a target. We need to use him!

Shouldn't be too much of a problem though. It shows that we would rather go to a carrier in Johno or Swanny and get it down inside forward 50. Blake is a great kick, has poise, but does take time. We did do it however against the Hawks. Blake had 30 touches.

good call! Just dont like to see those blokes run and turn it over. Which they didnt against the kanga's! maybe when we are under the pump we can use him to steady us

I think they knew they could get away with just backing the red-hot Tarrant and Rocca against the Kangaroo's shoddy defense on the weekend.

If we needed to be more considered and discriminating, we may have used the ball more carefully, but why not just use anybody you can to get it in there as quick as you can when Rocca and Tarrant are tearing up their opposition?

Oh, and never mention Ben Johnson as a bad or even average kick again - Statistically, he's one of our best. Aside from Nathan Buckley, I wouldn't prefer anyone in the league kicking to our forwards on the lead.
