Huge fan of this game, used to play it back in the early 90's, table top game with figurines....

Anyone here play?
Too busy with work and family to play nowadays. The computer game makes it a bit easier.

Great game, I urge people to try it. Bloodbowl and Bloodbowl Chaos expansion are pretty cheap.

Bloodbowl 2 is on the way. Would love to hear peoples thoughts.

Regards.

Used to play a lot but same as yourself family and real life gets in the way :D
Used to own 5 teams (orcs, humans, skaven, undead and dark elves) with quite a few star players. I have seen some miniatures for the upcoming release of BB 2 they are quite nice.

Yep, played with mates in the early-90s. My tactical nouse was never huge so it was generally Dwarves for me. We ran a league amongst ourselves although games weren't super-frequent.

I bought the PC version about 12 months ago. Liked it, although haven't given it a massive workout.

I've seen there's a card-based version as well: BB Team Manager. Has a reasonable overall rating on board game geek.

I have played the card game, its not too bad but if you want something that recreates the board game definately go with the PC game.

Cards eh? 10 years too late for me:oops:
I was a big fan of cards, Magic the Gathering, Doom trooper, and Gihad, or Vampire as it became known.

I'll have a look. Sounds interesting.

Is this a reboot of the old BloodBowl? I think Games Workshop (the folks who own the game) discontinued the game (or made it a specialist product) in the late 90s/00s?

I used to play this with a couple of mates but didn't really know the rules (they would ask me what I wanted to do etc and walk me through it). Pretty fun!

Have the PC game, not too bad either, have only played the real time mode though (and not the classic one which is reportedly better).

I played the board game, so have fond memories. I only play the classic turn based style!:thumbsu:

And, yeah, same game, in fact, the same as the original boardgame after they re-vamped it.

I've only played 'classic' mode.

Might have to give the classic mode a go next time I play it - the real time mode is pretty easy once you know how to play the game/exploit the AI. The classic mode probably adds more drama/unpredictability to it haha.
