I feel somewhat angry that the club has had to resort to putting out this PR piece IMHO to counter-act a disgusting and irresponsible piece of journalism in the Herald-Sun about Wayne Hughes ...

Frankly I am just confident and hopeful that the boys we picked up will go on to have long and successful careers and stick it up the clackers of those jerks from the tabloid News Ltd paper (lets face it, the HS is basically a tabloid, especially with it's obsession with celebrity gossip masquerading as news)

Well the Herald Scum obviously read the Carlton boards and only print stuff that puts our club down, but I don't see what Carlton are doing as counter attacking, they are saying to the world we are happy with our new, shiny young kids and we will back them no matter what.

I love the fact that all 3 of them seem genuinely rapt to have been drafted by the Blues. I can not wait to see them in action. I am really starting to like Mr Davies, I think he will be a real tough nut who will make a few opposition players a little uneasy with his attack on the footy.

All the froth & bubble over our drafting is as silly as it is predictable.

Although we certainly won't have any definitive for 3 to 4 years i've got to say that i've got a very good feeling about Lucas, Kerr and (particularly) Davies.
