IT SEEMED like everyone was talking politics yesterday, even posters in footy chatrooms. At Bigfooty.com, Carlton fans predicted happy days ahead with the observation that the blues have won premierships in 1981, '82, and '87 under Bob Hawke's Labor government, again in 1995 under a Paul Keating-led ALP, but the best they'd done with John Howard at the helm was defeat to the roos in 99. Hopefully will win a grand final within three years.:)

richard pratt donated a big sum of money to the liberal party this year.
john howard was asked a few weeks ago if he intended to give the money back because of the price fixing fiasco, he said NO obvisiously.
but personally i'm so glad kevin rudd was elected, john howard was and still is a little weasel!

Sucks to be you.

Pratt donates money to both parties and is one the ALP's top 20 donors.

Did Rudd give it back?

How much does the Union movement donate to the ALP each year? ;)

Where the hell did that come from?

And someone doesnt know their politics- 1981 and 1982 were won while Fraser was in power. In fact, the last premiership we won under a Labor PM in power before Hawke in 1987 was Ben Chifley in 1947.

Wow, that's one of the worst attempts at making up an article I've ever seen. Honestly, if you were going to bother at all, wouldn't you at the very least capitalise "blues" and roos"?

Top 20 Buisness Donors to the Coalition:

6. British American Tobacco $164,000

Last I heard the Unions weren't responsible for poisoning people.
And the banks that donate to the ALP are friendly than BAT who don't force anyone to buy their products?

**** ALL THE PARTIES!

Politics is just an interpretation of the facts and for fools who are biased.

My only bias is Carlton. :thumbsu:

Don't forget the ALP were wiped out in the last election and things can change quickly.

I wouldn't stick Demetriou's in Julia Gilliard.

Plenty of banks in the Coalition's list as well.

Oh, and BAT dont force anyone to buy their products? Its called an addiction you fool, thats how they make their money. Far as I know its not compulsory to join a bank or a union.
