I heard on the radio tonight that Bluey will play for Claremont before the end of the year! Good luck to him. I hope he does not make an AFL comeback. We should remember him for that last great game (Uh goal. By the way we got flogged)

I would hate to see him play for someone else just for the money. I think he is more beneficial to the Eagles as assistant Coach than on the field. The Eagles need to look forward and not back. And I say that with the utmost respect.

GO EAGLES

Assistant Coach and Chief Yeller At Phil Matera For Lowering Rope, you mean :D

I think Bluey's sendoff v Melbourne last year was as good as you could really ask for. Sure, it wasn't a win, but a win doesn't let you focus on the man that much. His goal will surely go down as one of those immortal moments in club history, alongside Mainy jumping off the bench at the GF's final siren, and Sumich's point after the siren which drew the final against Collingwood.

And Lewis' one and only goal against Essendon in 88 was it?

Sorry no Bluey comeback

Sorry to disappoint all the Bluey fans out there but the following taken from the west today,
"Mckenna rules out comeback"
It goes on to say that despite comments by Tigers coach Mark Riley that Mckenna would make a comeback in the WAFL in the next couple of weeks, Mckenna has ruled it out and says his future is off field.

This is great news, I look forward to a long and successful coaching career from the most intelligent tactician I've ever had the pleasure of watching play.

I agree with everything above this post.
