80's children will love this.

Me & my brother demanded & got "tuffs", the plastic (can bend back into shape in the freezer apparently) wheels. Thought they were "cool", "grouse", "smick" depending where you live. But after months of use, realised that they simply weighed the bike down. Clearly showy, and the spikes prevailed (like VHS). Anyone have 'em ? There were two designs from memory, the semetrical & the one's thet were sloped....

We had Maddison tanks though & were always envious of the "pick up with your finger" Mongoose's & Redlines.

I never had them, a little bit before my time. I know that they were meant to be heavy.

When I was younger we were too poor to buy special wheels like that, I had the 10 speed racer with a footy card and cloths peg in the spokes to make the noise. Classic.

FFS – it’s been like 15 year since I have ridden a bike. I am 31 now and was about 16 when I got my licence L’s….no need for a slow bike.

Yeah that was good. We found that we got better results by replacing the cardboard with plastic bits cut off an ice cream tub.

HAve you ever tried with a squashed can of coke. I find that has the greatest noise and loudest.
