Apologies for intruding on your board, but could somebody please tell me who the six pallbearers were that carried the fair dinkum unbelievable one's coffin out of the church.

My little 9yo girl was asking me about Bobby Davis the outher day and my explanation to her was "You know what Teddy Whitten meant to our Bulldogs, well Bobby Davis was the equivalent for Geelong."

E.J. Whitten meant quite a bit to may Geelong supporters too, I would suggest. At least this one. He was a regular commentator on Geelong's K-Rock which broadcasted the Geelong games.
 
I know one was Bob's son, Guy. Another was one of his grandsons. Not sure about the others.

Good analogy likening what Bob Davis meant to Geelong to what EJ meant to WB. Both doyens of the game, and legendary names.
