sydney eagle said:Define "Bob Dylan Songs" ? If you mean ones that he wrote that have been done by other artists there are probably dozens of them. For example he wrote "Mr Tambourine Man" but I think that the version by "The Byrds" hit the charts before Dylan's own version was released.
Surely you are taking the pi$$.alex1fun said:Does anyone know of any Bob Dylan songs that other artists have covered?

Bob Dylan is probably the most covered artist ever. If not he would be bloody close.
Without doing any research at all I think they are because of Yesterday. It's the most covered song ever but as for number of songs covered i thought Bob may be close. Like i said this is off the top of my head and on the weekend when I have time to kill I might look it up.jod23 said:I think the Beatles are the most covered artist of all time but Dylan would be up there. My favourite Dylan cover is probably Knocking on Heavens Door by the Gunners.

once again how do they defined which song has been covered the most?? THe answer to that is really unknown unless your specifically refeering to people who have released the song for monetary gain as that can be tracked through approriate sources.Raskolnikov said:They had a question on the Einstein Factor last week, "Which Beatles song is the most covered song ever?" and the answer was Yesterday.

But if they're just refeering to anyone playing a song live well i'm sure yesterday is covered 100 times every weekend by bands across the world....
Well going by that The Beatles have 172 songs covered with the most off 1 song being 112 artists.jod23 said:Dont know how accurate that is though because according to that, Elenor Rigby has been covered more than Yesterday which im sure is not right.
