It's a real shame because Bob Murphy is the epitome of a selfless, loyal hard-working player. He doesn't deserve to finish his career like that, and I wish all the best to him.

Yeah agree. Rapt when we won, but the injury took the gloss off despite not being a Hawk. Love him as a player.

Without a doubt I am one of the most one eyed Hawk members roaming this earth but for some reason seeing Bob go down effects me just like it was a Hawk player.

Yep, internal rotation with the leg in extension, grabbed at the front of the knee. Looked classic to me.

All the WA Hawks supporter group watching at the Inglewood Hotel cheered him off. They're normally a pretty feral bunch but it was a terrific show of sportsmanship, particularly with the game in the balance, and much appreciated by the Dogs fans- and probably everyone else too.

You seem to be the beholder of that, so as I remarked, fill me in on the cooling of period, one day? one week? Remember never said he deserved this shit to happen. Just commented on the Bob (man love) Bob (respect) Bob (different cat) Bob (not your average player) love he got from the umps today. Geez touchy much.
But then again today's generation do like to celebrate or grieve tragedy like no other time in history.
