good for aussie b-ball? we've seen it happen in australian soccer... and, will we soon have these players passing on opportunities to play with the national team in meaningless tournaments (bar the olympics).. ?

Not good for Australian Basketball but it comes as no surprise. Something needs to be done in the NBL because the league could be dead in a few years if something doesnt happen. Would be a real shame.

The only good thing to come out of this is that if it continues we'll all end up playing in the NBL!

Remove the NBA from free-to-air tv, and youth lose interest in basketball.

The NBL is also sub-par, so no-ones gonna go watch it.

Basketball will be like soccer in Australia...decimated. Shame.
