Anyone see this fight in the Breakers/Wildcats match the other day?

Tucker pushed Boucher over, Boucher gets up, chases Tucker down court and elbows him in the back of the head and gets ejected.

Then Tucker spanks him in the carpark later.

Funny stuff, 4 reports from it so far. Boucher deserves to have the book thrown at him elbowning a bloke from hehind is a dog act.

and so is belting him back in the carpark.

A little hard to compare an elbow from behind to a face to face punch.

The first is a dog act, the second is two blokes going at it.

It could be said thoug that he who retaliates is a lesser man. Eye for an eye is bullcrap, you get hit, you get over it and move on. Tucker is a thug.

I'm not standing up for Boucher in any way though.

I'm with Squeak. There is a reason we have a tribunal. If you're going to beat someone, do it on the court...

Boucher's elbow was the initial retaliation to the push from Tucker.

BTW Using your logic, was Nathan Buckley a "thug" and the "lesser man" in his altercation with Cameron Ling?

I don't understand why you're down on Tucker.

The two had a legit fight outside the arena, Tucker won said fight. Does the fact that he landed the best blow make him worse than Boucher, who was a willing participant in said fight?

It's not as though Tucker chased him down outside and whacked him, unlike Boucher who ran 15 metres to deliver an elbow to the back of the head.

Also, i hope Tony Ronaldson goes for his numerous illegal screens.

In a 5 minute period he set three illegal screens where his only aim was to hurt a 6ft guard by raising his forearms.

Very soft Tony, very soft.

I guess I'm of the train of though that what goes on the court, stays on the court. If Tucker had a go back at Boucher on the floor, that's understandable... but doing it after the game isn't on.

Who says he had a go at Boucher after the game?

As i've read it, the two players engaged in a fight, a little unfair to label Tucker the instigator simply because he was the better fighter.

Yes. Have never said he wasn't. In fact, I think me referring to what Figgy did as being a girly's rude bits of an act is what got me in hot water on Cats Claw in the first place.

Going for it in the carpark was taking it too far by (both) these guys. If I belt someone on the court, I expect to be able to make it to my car afterwards.

Don't remember you ever getting in trouble over there, but still, a refreshing attitude.

Statement A blames both, and statement B blames Tucker.

Your general point is wholly right, but i still can't comprehend why Tucker is being lambasted given both men fought in the carpark.

Boucher did the wrong thing on the court, got punished for it, to the tune of 2 games and $1000. By all reports, Tucker started and finished the fight in the carpark, protected by his Wildcats teammates. That is a matter for 21 Jump Street.

Who said Tucker started it after the game? Tucker was saying on the news how Boucher came at him in the carpark after the game and he stood up for himself, he said he regreted not walking away but it was a little hard with someone coming at him.

While that may or may not be an accurate version of events, it's more honourable then a cheap shot on the court.

Certainly not the reports i've been reading.

I think we are missing the real issue here. The Wildcats blow on the road and we just lost back to back games to a crappy team like the Breakers. Just ****es me off. Should still make the playoffs though....maybe.

That statement again shows the Wildcats problem.

Their arrogance and unwillingness to believe that they ARE one of those "crappy teams" has been their undoing of late.

Time to accept that your team is ordinary and drop the arrogance, because it isn't deserved.
