Haven't ben following Bowden all that closely the last few weeks, what role have they been using him in predominantly? Am thinking of bringing him into my Supercoach team (apologies, but there doesn't seem to be a SC thread), but am wary of it if he's going to be used as a forward. Is a SC king if he plays his traditional backline role.

Cheers...oh, and congratulations to him on the 250th. As someone else said, a very smart footballer, much underrated IMO.

Well done Joel.

I think he's an absolute class act on and off the field. One of the true good guys in the AFL. Quality footballer and intelligent as well.

But I’m not here to troll I would just like to say Congrats to Bowden on 250 and your mob for the after game stuff, it was pretty big of your team to wander over and make a guard of honour for Macca especially after being beaten.

If its worth anything Bowden got a standing ovation from the Crows (AAMI)members on the way out (which should always happen of course) which he acknowledged when he very well could have ignored considering the circumstances and being away from home etc.

So well done to Richmond and especially Joel - clearly the type of player that future AFL footballers should mould themselves on
