As taken from the Richmond board it appears if Bowden does make his return it will be as a forward, not the lovable cheap kick receiver in the back line we've all come to know and love :(.

With a high break even the amount Bowden will drop if he scores poorly is material so can people risk letting him play a game to see how he scores?

So in short if Bowden is named in the forward line what will you do and why?

If you've kept him this long, you'll keep him no matter where he's named.

Well firstly im going to see if hes named this week.

But Im really not sure what to do, at his current price I could trade him out and pickup Goddard and Burgoyne. However if Bowden tears it up in the forward line I would feel livered holding him on the pine 3 weeks only to trade him out.

however if he gets a poor score (around 40) then it would be a $30kish drop in price, which if Goddard and Burgoyne play well means they would be out of my price range for the trade.

In two minds

He could perform better as a forward with Richmond playing a better brand of football. Could potentially see him kick 3-4 goals a game alongside 15-20 possessions.

Burgoyne's B\E is 111 & Goddard's is 83, so both these guy's would need to outscore there B\E by at least 100, that's also assuming that Bowden only scores 40. So if Bowden was to have a very poor game, you would still be able to make either of these trades if you really needed too.

Good point, I was most likely going to hold him anyway.
you cant hold onto someone for 3 weeks and then let them go because they have moved position, specially since hes a premium. Gotta give him a week or two I guess

Didnt wallace play him forward and across the midfield at the start of last year and he was a useless DTer. First 4 rounds he went 65, 63, 67, 79. Stupidly i got rid of him and of course Tigers were getting pumped and he ended up going back where was a superstar once again.

I've hated him every since. haha

Killing me at the moment that my two star backs are The Chad and Bowden.

FFS.

Anyway...Fortunately I bet on two blokes called Bradshaw and Kennelly at the start of the year (yes, Bradshaw in the backline kicking bags of goals) which has turned out all right and I also bet on Jordan McMahon to get a lot of cheap ball (win). Other than that, my backline is rookie cows (some of whom are not getting a game or injured). So he'd be staying at least until I saw how he went up forward, but I may be forced to trade to cover a guarranteed 0 this week.
