For any locals starved of footy...Box Hill Hawks are playing an intra-club practice match at Glenferrie on Sunday at 9.30am.

Get down and have a look at some of the kids before you head off to Collo Stadium.

Rico, did you get along to the game?

If so any info would be greatly appreaciated. In particular im curious where Luke lined up. But info on any of the other young blokes worth hearing to. Special mention of Ossie whom you gave some wraps to last year. Seems the coaching panel were impressed as he was named as a possible for the seniors. Another Bowyer in the making perhaps?

Sorry guys...got some bad intel...the BHH seniors (i.e the side that includes Hawthorn players)actually played Sandy (Melbourne Reserves) on the Friday arvo at Sandy.I missed that game but saw some of the BHH players at the game on Sunday.They had a very big win but apparantly Sandy were pretty ordinary (Coburg beat them the week before !).Better Hawthorn players were Bateman,Johnson,Greene,Loats and Nichols.But it was only a casual chat..not a real match report.
The game I saw on Sunday at glenferrie was in fact an intra club of the rest of the BHH guys (basically reserves from last year)plus a bunch of Eastern Ranges kids vying for a spot on the BHH list this year...they dont finalise that until next week.Not of great interest to Hawk supporters I know but there were some good looking kids playing....jot down the name Brian Boyce in your 'little black'....big,raw CHF.

Anyway,we've got a firsts practice match THIS Friday against Murray Kangaroos.Time and venue TBA. I'll let you know more as the week goes on
