We all know Ed is going renew Buckley's contract, and we all know it's out of blind loyalty, so what can we do?

Boycott the remaining games, our board won't act because they are Ed's hand puppets, tbe only option we have is to send a message of our own, a loud and clear message, if you love this club boycott the remaining games, or else we'll be in a worse position next year.

Time deserves to be boycotted for the wrinkles and grey hairs it loves to dish out. And if it can be retrospectively boycotted then we should all boycott the entire 80's for the atrocities to fashion and hairstyles it inflicted upon the world, not to mention some of the crappy music.

Eddie's going to renew Buckley's contract? It just sounds like hyperbole more than anything else.

As it stands he remains un-contracted beyond this year and will not be renewed based on current performance.

I've been boycotting time for as long as I can remember, haven't worn a watch in years.

I moved to Melbourne in no small part for the footy, and Collingwood, but I soon decided that I wouldn't be getting a membership until Eddie left. That's my boycott. (And yes, I get that it might be more forceful if I let the club know, but really, I doubt the club cares.)

Isn't there some rich Collingwood supporter that can run ads calling for Eddie & his mate to stand down?.

If we started to lose major sponsor(s) then they would probably act.

Not sure there is any point to boycotting. Games have been dead and with no atmosphere for at least 2 seasons now and the club would know that. If you just find us boring to watch and don't wanna go fair enough, never yawned so much at the footy in my life.. just not sure a boycott organised on here would actually have that much impact. For memory only 20k rocked up to that freo game last year and here we are 12 months on.

You going on a hunger strike wont achieve anything, in case you didn't know our club is in crisis, open your eyes, and we aren't getting help from our board, take that to the bank.

In addition to boycotting the club one might consider boycotting the sponsors. Here's a list of them. Again, a boycott might be more effective if the relevant organisations are aware that they are being boycotted and why (but seriously, how many of these would you be boycotting, and of those that you are, how many would care?)

Well, I'm convinced. I'm now going to boycott games until we start winning again and will encourage others to do the same. No need to thank me when it all turns around. A statue at the Holden Center will suffice.

Actually I don't find it as humorous as you do. Yours seems to be a defeatist attitude. As if the supporters and the members have no say. The supporters are the club. Not Eddie. If they start taking action then change will happen.
