It's pretty clear that Brad Green got the tap on the shoulder rather than walked away from the game. At 31 and still playing decent footy the question needs to be asked is he worth another go?

Brad Green could offer a GWS or Gold Coast an experienced small marking forward he would be able to provide a teach the younger players on the field. he is also a good leader both on and off the field.

To a top side he could offer a back up player. Collingwood would of loved to of had a player like Brad Green this year, it would've provided cover for Krakeour and given them the ability to drop Dawes. For West Coast he would've been a perfect replacement for Le Cras, etc. I think that for a top side who are in the middle of the Premiership window he can offer the cover you need to have, but with the advantage of him being an experienced player who has been there and played on the big stage in big matches.

It will be interesting to see what happens and GWS has already signalled that they may have a chat with and I'm willing to bet they won't be the only club to do that.

wouldnt mind seeing him help out the forwards at gc next yr. wont happen tho.. need to cull too many players, gws have the luxury of a bigger list

I'm not so sure it wasn't his decision to retire, he's now fully accredited to coach and wants to get into it right away.

In summary, not clear at all, and he doesn't want to walk away, he wants to coach.

This is your 2nd post about this and I'm not so sure it really needed it's own thread, are you trolling?
