Opinion Brad Sewell

I got to thinking before that Sewell would make an excellent midfield coach for us seeing as

1: an excellent player who clearly understands Clarksons statergy
2: the same as dimma he's been a student of Clarkson so in theory he should work well with him and share alot of the same football strategy etc etc.
3: the way Hawthorn played a complete hard, tough and ruthless team game in the GF, sewell knows this mantra well.

Im hoping to god we can recruit him for our mid department, wondering what my fellow Tigs thought?

He's certainly got the right playing background, so you couldn't complain on that score.

Not as a player as someone that is going to instil discipline and part time coach yes

I understand he would be a great leader for the youngies but we need speed and gut running, not his strengths. Harder when we have Newman on the list as well.

I think we have filled in our vacant potions for this year, can't see it happening.

Truck filled in danny daly's postion, not 100 per cent sure but I don't think we have anymore vacant jobs left...could be wrong though.

We're already down from last year, replacing Daly with Rutten doesn't make up for the missing spots.
We focussed on getting VFL coaches last year, this year we need to reinforce our AFL assistants

I have the feeling your right, I just really want someone of his reputation and skills working with our young midfield group.
