Craig Bradley has re-signed with the Blues. The news reports are saying a one year contract, but apparently there is an option for 2002 if both parties are in agreement.

yeah fine but what chance is there that 'both parties will be in agreement' in 2002 ?

buckleys ?

That will make Bradley older than Michael Tuck or Kevin Bartlett by the time he goes.

Is this a realistic scenario or is Bradley just dreaming ?

You don't think Braddles, can stand up to another year? You can't question his fitness.
It's just wait and see after this season, I suppose.

I say give Bradley what he wants..... he has done so much for the Blues that if he wants a 2 year contract, give it to him.

Like Bee said, you can't question his fitness - he is a remarkable player - he is keeping up with the guys in the team that are 26 years old!!!

I think he could last another 2 years.

The option would always be there for Bradley anyway. If he finishes off next year as well as he did this one (All-Australian again) then there will be no reason why he can't go again.

I think we should make the most of watching him while we can. He is one of the trus champions of the game.

This is a hallucination and these faces are in a dream. A computer generated environment; a fantasy island you can do anything and not have to face the consequences.

Well it all depends on two things. Firstly, money.....if the Blues are having as much trouble balancing the books as it appears then they may let Braddles go in favour of a player of the future. It has happened before. You watch, the same people who have been ruthless in serving it up to us about the salary cap payment to Bradley will probably be the first ones to criticise us for lack of loyalty should Braddles not get the second year.

Secondly, if Bradley does not play up to his usual standard this year, I think he will do the honourable thing and retire. Not that I think it honourable or appropriate but I'm sure Braddles would.

Go for 40 Braddles.
