Bruzz standing menacingly over the hapless Crow that he'd just pulverised was (horribly) reminiscent of Jonathan Brown standing over a curled-up Rhyce Shaw in the 2003 GF nightmare. He was intimidating, a powerful physical force. At least that’s how it looked like on TV.
That final tackle - the one that incensed Keays? - was brutal. And to stay looming over the Crow shows how fired up Bruzzy still was, after four quarters.
Augers well for us.
That horrible flashback aside, the brutality of Maynard's and Shultz's tackling is stunning. They both fearlessly hit their opponents at top speed and tackle to hurt. It really sets the tone for the whole team.
