Hey guys, hows Beamer looking (I dont think ya's have started any Pre-Season training to date - so maybe im abit early creating this thread) ?

Easily one of my fav players in the competition, very sad to see him go a few yrs ago - but we've moved on! ;)

He suffered some chronic injuries in 2006 - can anyone fill me in as to what exactly it was that he suffered from? Op?

Also any news throughout the pre-season would be fantastic - lets hope Beamer can show the AFL world that he has the potential to be in the top 20 or so midfielders in the comp! Go Beamer u champ!!!

Had OP last season Stoney. Had a great year the season before, think he was 2nd or 3rd in our B&F from memory. To be honest i am just hoping that he can play a full season from him this year. Not expecting huge things this season but hopefully he can be consistent. It will be something to see Brock, Colin and Beamer in the one midfield.

It sure will mate ... i dont even go for Melbourne and im excited for u guys! I wouldnt want to be playing against that midfield in 5 years time when they are all at their peaks.

He'll maul next year. I have a feeling he'll sneak under the radar (Like he did in 2005 to an extent) but a lot more this year and take another big step forward. In his few games this year he showed he is no longer so one-dimensional with his game and should develop into a top line midfielder. Not sure about top 20, but will be a very good player for the MFC.
Just on Geelong, if that idiot Thompson doesn't play GAJ in the middle next year he should be given the sack. That is where GAJ will make his name if given the chance.
