Just flicked onto Channel 2 to watch the SANFL game, Sturt/Centrals, to discover that Brett Reilly has gone off with a suspected broken collarbone! Poor kid... how long will he be out with that sort of injury?

BTW I also see James Begley's playing - he must have recovered from that thumb injury quicker than expected?

*edit* Blimey, Begley's just gone off with a bloody nose. Possibly broken. Are these players jinxed?

Shite. That doesn't sound good. You'd think that would keep him out for some time. :(

Would expect Reilly would be out for a month. Bad luck for the kid, when he would have been looking for a good run today to get back into the team.

Not good. Reilly also broke a collarbone on during the main training session before TAC Grand final before being drafted.

Usually that sort of injury keep a player out for some 4-6 weeks. Not good:(

Won't do his trade value any good at the end of the season either, it looked like he was coming on in leaps and bounds and given 10 -15 more games the Crows would have got quite a good deal for him.

What a bugger. I'm sure Reilly was only dropped so that he could have a full game or two with Sturt to find touch before coming back into the side.

Good to see Begley out there. Thank god you don't run on your nose!! :) I still think he'll find his way into the Crows side after a few runs with the Double Blues.

Just on that match, Neil Craig and Stephen Schwerdt were there as observers. Brent's injury would not have made their day.

Daniel Schell would not have made their day either!! If he gets another game with the Crows I'll be stunned! He was totally outclassed and played some of the dumbest football I have ever seen.

David Kellet played his first game today. Showed some good skills under pressure for a first gamer. I hope AFC paid some close attention to him. That over the shoulder free kick was a nice bit of luck for the Dogs.

He DID NOT look happy what-so-ever...He was shattered!!!!
The way he came tot he trainers down to the rooms, looked painful.:(

He did appear with just the chest strapped and a sling at Half time....but it still didnt look good. Hopefully, he will get a quick recovery.

well I was at the game today, and i was soo disapointed when he came off. My friend and i were right next to him when he walked off, and he was holding his shoulder and he looked in a lot of pain. He sat on the boundary after half time and he didnt look very happy at all.
I hope he isnt out for too long and that it is just soreness

During the call of the Adelaide West Coast game Graham Cornes kept calling him Trent. It got pretty annoying after a couple of times.

that was bad luck when he did the same thing before the TAC cup grand final...i would imagine he would be very dissapointed right about now..certainly looked it after the game

Did he get a lot of ground time?????? I am p*ssed of now that I missed the game. I was looking forward to watching Kellet make his senior debut. Not selecting him might yet come back to bite us on the backside.

I'll try to get a few things done before tommorrows SANFL match between Eagles and Roosters. I'm not sure if I'll make it to the game by I'll try to watch it on TV. I am looking forward to watching Hentschel, Bock and Skipworth play. If I manage to watch it I'll try to write up something on their performace for all those interstate.;)

Ooops, sorry to have got his name wrong. I just noticed it was Brent this morning.

Yes, I remember Cornsey saying it wrong last week. He also said he thought Brent (Trent :D ) wasn't quite ready for the AFL, so I guess the young fella has a point to prove when he gets back.

I only saw glimpses of the game between flicking from the Ess/Coll match. Good tidy skills reads the play very well and looks to know where to run.

I was suprised he didn't get drafted last year but he should go this year you reckon. Maybe his pace turned a few clubs off but when you can read the play as well as what he can it doesn't become as much of a problem.

I was really disappointed that we didn't draft him. I have said that his pace is a bit of a downer but if you can read the ball as well as him and have a fantastic footy brain, you can cover that. Kellett strikes me as a very neat footballer. He is so footy smart. You can never ever see him get into situations where his pace would be tested. Great little player. He is a cross between former Fremantle player Adrian Fletcher and a former Carlton star Greg Williams

Bad luck for young radar.
Fortunately our depth should cover him...Mattner, Doughty.

Speedy recovery Brent:(

Add Begley to that depth. The 'tiser gave him 2nd best for the Double Blues. Hope he stays sound as he is a good tall winger or HB flanker.
