Davenport and Cornelius are welcomed to the Bears!​

Jason Davenport and Aaron Cornelius have been welcomed officially to Brisbane after the pair were officially traded in from Geelong. Davenport signs a three year contract, while Cornelius signs a whopping five year contract, at just $96,000.

Travis Varcoe and Simon Hogan were the ones to make way, missing their home town feel of Geelong and were sent back there in the trade.

Lachlan Keefe lands in Brisbane​

Promising young ruckman Lachlan Keefe has signed an $125,000 three year deal with the Bears, securing his services and another ruck. He looks forward to the prospect of possibly getting a few games next year and is ready for the challenges ahead.

Chris Hall becomes a Bear​

Promising young player Chris Hall has officially become a Bear today, along with Pick 35 in exchange for Stefan Martin. Hall was happy to be apart of the young Bears side and looks forward to contributing to the club for at least the next three years.

Moloney + Blight sign for Brisbane​

Star midfielder Brent Moloney and promising young player Jarrad Blight have signed with Brisbane on five year deals. Moloney will be a starter in a young midfield, while Blight will be hoping to get some games next season. Alastair Smith and Pick #14 were given up to Adelaide for the pair.

Morabito and Stevens join the Bears​

Anthony Morabito and Koby Stevens have joined the Bears after being picked up in the National Draft with picks #4 and #18 respectively. Both will provide good run and good skills. Hopefully they will gain quite a few games next year, particularly Morabito who should play nearly a full season.

Sam Reid and Nathan Vardy make the trip north​

Sam Reid and Nathan Vardy are Brisbane's two newest draftees after being taken with Picks #34 and #40 respectively. Reid will develop into a tall back, while Vardy will be a handy option in the ruck and will hope to get a handful of games next year due to the lack of rucks at Brisbane.
