Well done on reaching your fourth in a row..Port last did that in the 50's before my time, though they made a couple 3 in a rows over the last few decades prior to joining the AFL..
I know the exhilaration and feeling of elation on making the G.F.... having attended 1971, 1972, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1984, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996 ...join the AFL...been to them all, lost 71, 72, 76, 84.
The Brisbane Lions have quite simply produced the greatest team to have ever played AFL football or its antecedent suburban VFL / SANFL/WAFL
I wish you the best of luck...and should we lose I could not think of a better club to lose to..The Lions are quite simply a cut above the rest and are deserving of every accolade that could possibly be bestowed on them.
