yes - I see and share your frustration - but do you really think he hears the boos and thinks 'well I probably should retire, as a few followers are getting stuck in' ... it's just not going to happen.

At the risk of Modra's ire, ill use the wet toast as an example again - Peter Sumich confidence was shot by constaant abuse about hsi ckicking style etc etc, then a 500 goal kicker, the most of ANY left foot player ever, was scrapped, with a fair few good years ahead I would have thought.

Fraser Gehrig is another that was in the end basically sacrificed (Seirakowski may be a trier, but he aint in Fraser's class) as he wanted to get the hell out of town - did that help them? no fricking way.

At the end of the day - we are nothing but supporters, Im not suggesting cheering for him, but I just can't see the positives in any way shape or form in jeering them - but hey, at the end of the day it's your call .. just having my 2c.

I can tell you are a passionate and thinking supporter Espirito, so I am sure you aint going to run off and support the wet toast - well I sure hope not, wouldn't wish that on anyone!

Alright...next I could try cheering. Then I reconsider. Do I really want to be cheering someone earning possibly $300 000 a year to drop simple chest marks and frequently kick off the side of his boot? Probably not.
So what's left then? Ahh..that's it. Do nothing.
Just be content where we are as a football club and where he is as a player and just do nothing. I wonder to myself where this approach will take us, and has taken us in the past. Backwards sprung to mind. Then, looking at the ladder, I realise the future is rosy because we can't possibly go backward any more.

Good onya. We can all sit there and cheer the crap year in and out but real supporters do something to try and change things. I have written to Freo without any replies. You are voicing your feelings to the club about a player you don't think should be on the ground. If more people did things instead of bagging the few that do then whe may get somewhere.
