Hodges to captain Broncos

Veteran Justin Hodges has capped one of the great comebacks by being officially confirmed as Brisbane captain for the 2015 NRL season by coach Wayne Bennett.

Hodges, 32, was all but blacklisted by the Broncos after an ugly split with Bennett when he quit the club and signed with the Sydney Roosters in 2001.

However, Bennett only had eyes for Hodges when picking his new captain upon his return to the Broncos in 2015 after seven years away.

Seems i'm the only Brisbane fan here albeit only part time

Dissapointing way to start the season on Thursday.
Still can't fathom how Wayne thought it would be a good idea to drop Dan Vidot from the side.

Looking forward to seeing Milford strut his stuff as the season goes along.

Another Broncos fan here.

After reading an an article about why Wayne dropped him I can understand why but I'd still have him in the team before Reed or Maranta.

Hope he doesn't put Parker in dummy half again though.
